The Superpave Asphalt Technology Program is engaged in several projects that extend its leadership in Superpave research and implementation, including toner-modified asphalt, the effect of crushed aggregate percent on HMA mixture performance, correlating field performance to Hamburg wheel-tracking results, and comparing hot-poured crack sealant to emulsified asphalt crack sealant. The program maintains state-of-the-art transportation materials teaching and research facilities.
